The House investigative committee has published a batch of roughly 70 photographs obtained from the property of deceased adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the latest in a series of publication from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the committee has obtained from Epstein's estate. It includes images of excerpts from the novel Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured pictures of women's international passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to disclose all records connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new images bring up further questions about exactly what the DOJ has in its holdings," stated the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

These are the newest affluent, powerful figures to be pictured in Epstein's estate photographs published by the House Oversight Committee - previously disclosed pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photographs is does not constitute indication of any wrongdoing, and several of the featured men have said they were in no way implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement issued alongside the photo release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not offer background information or timeframes for the images.

"Photos were picked to furnish the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs acquired from the property, and to offer insights into Epstein's associates and his exceptionally alarming actions," the release states.

The release also features several photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in ink across several locations of a woman's body, like her torso, lower extremity, pelvis, and rear. Lolita tells the tale of a young girl who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the book scrawled across a female's upper body says, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a number of photographs of women's passports and official papers from states worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the information on the papers, such as identities and DOBs, is obscured but the panel indicated in a announcement that the passports belong to "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

Another photograph depicts Epstein positioned at a table intimately in the company of three female figures whose identities have been censored - one has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his clothing, and a second is bending to examine a nearby computer. Epstein appears to be helping the third individual put on a piece of jewelry.

An additional image disclosed is a image of digital messages from an unidentified person who claims they have been provided "several females" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Image Release Occurs Before DOJ Due Date

The body has thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its press release on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on allegations of human trafficking, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein estate submitted to the body are distinct from what is largely termed "Epstein-related records". That material are papers within the Department of Justice's possession associated with its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The extent of the contents found in the DOJ's files is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be significantly obscured, comparable to House Oversight Committee releases
