Declan Rice Deliveries on corner kicks and set-plays created chances. Was given license to move down the left flank but was in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Granted a well-earned break around the 60-minute point. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Operated in an advanced spot down the right while also contributed with dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality but mishit a shot high. Replaced towards the end for Rogers, his rival, after receiving a caution. 7

The winger Was presented with the team's top opening of the first half, his effort excellently kept out by Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries from wide areas were hit and miss. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his two more strikes in an England shirt. The opener a typical close-range tap-in and the second an excellent headed goal having drifted away off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side stand a real opportunity next summer with him leading the line. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Struggled to make an impact from the left. Had a good opening after being played in by the midfielder but the keeper denied him. His replacement produced a bigger influence after coming on. 5
