It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batsmen to maintain a record if never given the possibility.

In the end, the consequence of Australia allowing 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy being given a platform to deliver her latest masterpiece.

Originally famous as the young family member of famous ex Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she debuted in 2010 after her nation failed to win either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups held the previous year and has experienced everything through 15 successful years since.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the title decider and was awarded tournament MVP. She made sure her country would not come up short.

The question of whether this newest brilliant performance topped that previous effort remains open for discussion.

Certain people claim the reasoning behind final game tension. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this hundred was considerably tougher to see coming.

Once she was dismissed her side required another 66 at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if we do, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this championship should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

It was at that stage they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the initial instance at an important competition.

So great is her will, she subsequently stated she wished she had played through the pain.

However although she subsequently acknowledged those physical issues have postponed plans to retire, this tournament is expected to be her final tournament as skipper in 50-over cricket and she is still to achieve a global event as leader.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her last major obstacle.
