WHere is a home-style take on a cocktail featured on a new drinks list. It's a party-sized prepared mix which is packed full of tastes of a Christmas time, making it perfect for a celebration. Reserve the remaining cordial you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or to mix another batch of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
To make the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Premix (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components inside a pot, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Next, take off the stove allowing it to reach room temperature fully. Decant to a clean bottle, close it keeping it chilled, it can be stored for around four weeks.
To make Premix: Combine the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it , ideally through muslin, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix into a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate carefully for one minute to chill. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, top with a few cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the drink.
